The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.

RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATRE
Morrison, CO
Soundcheck: Acoustic Army (x2), Jam, Taste, Cry Baby Cry
SET 1:
My Friend, My Friend: Standard.
Divided Sky: One of the best Phish songs at one of the best venues. Good stuff!
Strange Design: Standard. >
The Oh Kee Pa Ceremony: Standard. >
AC/DC Bag: Standard. >
Theme From the Bottom: Standard.
Taste: Standard.
Sparkle: Standard. >
Run Like an Antelope: Solid for sure and the perfect way to end the set. Interesting that this version is peak less and takes a backdoor path to the Rye Rocco section.
SET 2:
Split Open and Melt: Gnarly way to open the second set! This tune has been played 342 times. It has opened the second set 11 times (none in 3.0). This one is a bit herky jerky to me. The signal that begins the run to the finale at 11:46 gets a big cheer. The finale is strong for sure.
The Wedge: Standard.
Scent of a Mule: Standard.
Cavern: Standard. >
David Bowie: Fairly average for this era. But stick this in the 97 and forward era and it would surely be considered a good or great version.
Acoustic Army: Standard.
Sweet Adeline: Standard.
Slave to the Traffic Light: Pretty solid offering, Trey gives the ending a good run.
ENCORE:
The Squirming Coil: Fantastic! Page has a gorgeous 4 minute solo. Wonderful encore!
Summary: Solid show. Nothing crazy. Melt was cool. 3.5/5.
Replay Value: Split Open and Melt
Part of the soundcheck's jam consisted of 25 or 6 to 4.
