The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.

"I respect Trey and keep seeing him perform live in whatever incarnation possible because of the intention and devotion he has to his craft. Some songs come out of the womb ready to roll, some need time to grow, and rarely is there a stillbirth. But one show’s awkward debut may become a Monster tomorrow. Easy Now with the trash talking, sure it wasn’t the best show ever, but they took chances and broke new ground. And that’s why I’ll be back tomorrow night. #treyrocks #hatersgonhate"
