topolewb My first Phish show. After listening to Phish in my latter years in college with my fraternity brothers; I was all in for Camp Oswego. Three cars and 10 people deep, off we go to Volney NY from NJ. As predicted by my experienced friends, we hit an 8 hour traffic jam to get inside the airport. And so the party began. It was hotter than hell that weekend, but after hearing one note live, I was hooked. I had never seen so many people focused on the band. There was very little chatter by the crowd back in those days. Free was my fav, and they delivered on Day 2. It would be unfair to rate these shows since they were my first. However, Phish has been my obsession since Camp Oswego even during the 2 hiatuses. I have more passion than ever for Phish after watching them evolve over the years. And most importantly, they seem to have found the right balance for themselves, their Families, and us fans.

Camp Oswego is where my love began for the almighty Phish.
