Rift is still a little shaky in the timing, but good overall. Foam is good as is the standard Bouncing. Maze has a little feed back and has a great solo section from Page and Trey. Guelah was well played and has a really long pause before the "Fly" section. Paul was good. Sample is also much better with the vocal phrasing coming into focus. Jim has a nice jam to it. Great to hear "Gears" come out and play a couple songs to end a really good first set.
Not sure if the recording is off or what, but Axilla is a half step up from normal tonight. Curtain has a few off spots, but not too bad. Melt was good. Mound was ok, maybe a few spots off. Mike's was just ok for me. Hydrogen is actually much better than the norm tonight, not great, but better. Weekapaug has a good jam to it. Glide seems misplaced, but reasonably well played. In fact the whole back side of this second set is played well, but the singing is terrible in Glide, My Sweet One and FEFY. Of course Fish hates on HYHU and then has some fun on Terrapin. Mike and Trey are both off in the middle of Coil and Page gets to mop up the mess. Not too bad of a second set overall. Adeline is ok despite the sickness and the shushing.
Fire is the lone encore tonight and is played a little sloppy, but rocking.
Not the greatest show, but much better in the context of the whole tour. At least check out this first set.
