"We realize this topic is heavy and a little uncomfortable." Heavy yes, uncomfortable no. Recovering from a substance use disorder, achieving abstinence, staying "clean" - whatever you want to call it - is to be celebrated. Nothing heavy about it unless you're in the thick of it and scared to death to live with or without substances.
