mattybweston Howdy y'all. I've been listening to Halloween second set non-stop for days after watching it several times until they pulled it off of LivePhish (mercifully for my kids) and I feel compelled to echo the last several posters and say that the passion, the preparation and the execution of that set should leave us all awestruck. Dare I say that Trey found his inner Bowie lilt in both his sections of Five Years and all of Rock n Roll Suicide. Not going Type II or quite frankly Type Anything for this night felt (to me) like the ultimate eulogy to rock royalty David Bowie. The meticulous craftsmanship of his complex persona, lyrics and music was at once all encompassing yet fleeting- like a photograph as a sliver of time. Bowie reinvented himself so many times musically its not necessary to reinvent his music. I am thrilled that my favorite band took the care and balls needed to play this foundational piece of rock music.

So wham, bam thank you ma'am! and let's see what some of these songs do when they get put into rotation.

Onward to NYC!
