Man that Austin show sure is getting some hatred.. Didn't listen to it until an hour or so ago, but there's some really interesting stuff strewn about that show.
I gotta try the AUD out though, the board pushes Trey way too far forward in the mix.

As for "KDF haters be damned"

I mean.. nobody is going to hate a song anymore if they're jamming it out. It's just how it is. KDF has had some excellent improv segments before, as has Number Line.. But if people get a little bit bitter about perfunctory versions, i can't really blame them.

People still act like Caspian is that awkward 3 minute show-hiccup from 1995 instead of the glorious textural type I jam that it's been ever since, like Bug with significantly less cringe inducing lyrics.. So maybe it isn't always how it is.

I kinda hate reading reviews that are full of preconceptions and negative expectations, but they're usually the right way to go when a show straight ruins all those preconceptions.
