raidcehlalred Of course there is a lot to like, and this is not to take a swipe at fall '97, but what I really loved about the summer is all over this Jim. So much Page on his piano; the subdued - yet scatter-shot - syncopation; Trey shifting pitches with metered patience; his looping less piercing, in no way distracting; the 'quiet' augmenting the playing, rather than any sense of meandering (or a breather); at this point never knowing what would eventually emerge from 'it.'

In many ways the playing is like some of the really cool '04 stuff, only absent the menacing spirit.

One of my favorite things about summer is LB.... seeing what comes out of the capsule. Last year it was the JB 'Tweezer' and 'Nothing.'

Have fun at the shows; it's still such a great time to be into the band.
