I think that most of the voting bias comes from the clear accessibility of the jam. We have such quick access to Phish music now, with PPV and Phish.in. I feel that the older crowd holds those older jams close to the breast because it came during a pivotal moment in that phan's life. I really like the comment where we are taking away from the 3.0 fan base when we lambaste the Tahoe Tweezer. Yes, we are taking the low turnout into account - I mean there are thousands of phans who would disagree with this list, but they didn't vote. The Tahoe Tweezer is of the upper echelon, and I can understand why it is considered number 1. Comparing the 94 Providence Bowie to Tahoe Tweezer would do both a disservice, yet if you juxtapose them, The Tahoe's quality is that much more in depth because the band is in a more mature place now. It would be interesting if they ran this again to see if the results were different, now that people see the initial results. Would more people vote because they see how the results were against their opinions?
