markhood There are so many things that go into a show before you even get to the venue: who you are with, the trip there, does everyone have tickets. Once your inside: who your with, who is around you, how you are feeling. It still amazes me the different feelings friends, neighbors or basically whoever you talk too get from a particular show or any show for that matter. One example was Deer Creek 99. I thought it was one of the top 5 shows I have ever seen. Some people we were camping next to didn't have the same feelings calling it an "average" show? The bottom line is that if you talk to 10 people right after a show you will get 10 different answers which is great. Diversity is a good thing. But when people just complain to complain it really sucks. Any phish show is the best thing happening on planet earth that day and I would love to go to all of them if I could.
