PHISH VINYL TO BE RELEASED AT SBIX

In very exciting news to audiophiles & vinyl lovers and collectors, Phish will be selling never before released vinyl editions of a couple of albums at the JEMP Record store as well as a limited re-release of "Two Soundtracks" that quickly sold-out on Record Store Day. The store will be located next to the House of Live Phish. The "White Tape", "Party Time" and "Two Soundchecks" will be available.

For details, see Phish's Facebook page.

Adjacent to the House Of Live Phish, the JEMP Record Store will feature a vast array of releases from the band's catalog from years past as well as more recent releases including the new "Live in Utica" DVD/CD box set, hard-to-find-in-store titles like "Live at The Roxy", "The Clifford Ball" 7-DVD set, "Vegas 96" and many others.

In addition (and the part we're most excited for), the JEMP Records Store will also feature exclusive, brand new Phish vinyl releases each day of the festival. This will include first time releases of "The White Tape" (180g white vinyl), "Party Time" (2-LP 180g vinyl) and a very limited number of "Two Soundchecks" on 7" vinyl which was previously released in April for Record Store Day. Release times/dates for each individual vinyl release will be announced in the program guide when you arrive on site. The store will be equipped with vinyl listening stations and copies of every JEMP Records release to pick up, open, read, feel and smell, so be sure to stop by!

mccordo As if I weren't bummed enough about missing all of the great *live* music at SBIX, now I'm even more bummed that I won't be able to visit the JEMP Records Store! If they have an extras after the fest I hope they put them up for sale on Dry Goods...

My *inference* from reading the press release, is that the White Tape & Party Time will subsequently be available for sale from retailers and Dry Goods. (Only because there was no mention of limited, "one time" only, etc.) I can't make it to IX either, and I'd sure love to add the White Tape to my Phish Vinyl collection.
